Andrea Monaghan

Virtual Assistant – My name is Andrea Monaghan, and I am the founder of I AM Virtual Assist Limited. Over the last 22 years, I have gained many skills in the workplace from age 12; I was working in a cafĂ© serving customers! Sometimes I miss that job. I’m at my best when talking to customers!

I started my professional career as a trainee civil engineer for a worldwide corporate. I moved on to become an architects technician. I have worked on some exciting projects from re-development of major roads, schools, hospitals, residential developments and prisons. While raising my family, I took on a role within an Internet Marketing Consultancy and flourished learning many online skills, including web design and internet marketing. At this time, I completed my degree In construction management and gained a first-class. During my degree, I received Prince2 training for project management. My research during my degree focused on Building Information Management (BIM).

Collaboration in construction is something I’m passionate about. I’ve been lucky enough to utilise my research, and I now help business owners with BIM processes working with SME s and large corporates. Aiding BIM level 2 awareness and enabling teams to create BIM level 2 compliant data sets. I am also able to create and edit CAD drawings, federate Model data and Draft Models in Revit. I believe this makes me unique within the Virtual Assistant world. Although my niche is construction, I am not limited to this industry. Please contact me with any other enquiries.
